Radnja serije ''The Vampire Diaries'':
Radi se o tinejdžerki Eleni koja se zaljubi u novog učenika, zgodnog i misterioznog Stefana, koji je ujedno i vampir. Stefan je dobar vampir koji pokušava živeti normalnim životom među ljudima, dok je s druge strane njegov brat Damon otelotvorenje nasilja i brutalnosti. Ta dva brata, jedan dobar, jedan zao, ulaze u rat za Eleninu dušu. Serija je bazirana na seriji knjiga L.J. Smith koje su napisane pre knjiga Stephenie Meyers, "Twilight". U serije glume Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley i Ian Somerhalder.
